I have been procrastinating starting this little newletter for a little over an age now...
Friends have suggested I find a place to deposit all my quaint, eco natterings - probably in the hope of saving their ears from the torment.. The truth is, I have started a copious amount of blogs over the years, but have been unsuccessful in managing to perserver with any of them. Feeling unenthusiastically beholden to follow up the initial dire welcome post, with another sad sibling. Sadly, they have been left to be unfavourably discovered ... like the stale pieces of chewing gum beneath school desks.
I tell my ego that the lack of success these past writing instalments was because I had always refrained from announcing their existence, due to my fear of perpetual embarrassment and ridicule. BUT! I would like to try again - hopefully, for the last time. I will try a Newsletter this time too, with the idea that this time it really will be "different". Even if this is just to alleviate some of the ranting I offload onto friends and family. Because I would like to create a space to share all the lovely things I've bumped into or been introduced to over the month. Plus January has come around and pushed me to finally start it. New Year, new me and all.
Perhaps the act of me actually publishing and actually sharing HHH with any willing recipient, will also hold me accountable for some form of continuance as well...
SO, WHAT IS HHH?
HHH is simply, Happy Helpful Homework!
A collection of things to do, places to explore, brands to browse, articles to read, podcasts to listen to, habits to adopt...(this list can and most likely will go on as I struggle to fill the report.) It will be an amalgamation of things. An amalgamation of things, which all serve a greater good!
Cute and trite maybe.
Now, I could self indulgently be creating these letters for me to have stored away to poodle through over the coming years. And perhaps I am stupidly naive enough to believe that anyone will regard this differently to the other spam messages in their inbox, but it would be lovely to hear feedback of how you'd like to hear from HHH.
If you care in the smidge'n Shorter? More focus on this- not that? Less of that and more of this? None of that? a peppering of that thing? LET. ME. KNOW. HOW I can make reading even a sentence or two of this thing I'm creating the slightest bit more bearable.
